Poser World

Discovering Poser World is like finding a treasure trove full of unexpected delights, both old and new. Anyone interested in computer artwork and "posing" art would do well to check them out. They have more content than you can imagine, and are constantly adding new content to the site. For those who are not familiar with such things - Poser and Daz Studio are two of the main applications for what is called "posing" artwork. Using 3 dimensional figures and props, you can clothe your figures in many different kinds of outfits, put them into interesting settings, and pose them as you wish, adding lighting and camera angles to then create a "render", a 2 dimensional representation of the 3d scene you have created. Poser World is one of the many places where you can find content for these programs. And no, it's not free, but joining even for a month will give you access to everything in their database. It all depends on how fast you can download. ;) They went through some rough times in the past, but now they're back on their feet, and producing more than ever. So if you are interested in such things, go check them out. They have special pricing in celebration of their 10 years online. It's certainly worth trying out.
